SHIFTCORE FOOTWEAR
Development of a modular and adaptable footwear system built around a single outer shell and interchangeable inner boots, designed to respond to different styles of use, levels of comfort and everyday situations. The project explored how one shared base could transform according to the user's needs, allowing the inner layer to be changed in order to modify the character, function and wearing experience of the footwear without replacing the entire structure. The proposal also introduced a practical logic linked to daily life and travel: leaving the outer shell at the entrance, using the inner boot indoors, and carrying multiple options while taking up less space. Formally, the system aimed to balance a sporty identity, flexibility of use and a clear reading between shell, inner and assembled product.

My Contribution
I developed the project from the original concept and modular system logic through to its formal resolution, 3D modelling, renders, animations and final visual narrative. My work focused on defining the relationship between shell and inner boot, the overall product architecture, its colour and material variations, and the way the system should communicate adaptability, lightness and transformation in use.
Process
Concept development, product strategy, modular system definition, design of the shell and interchangeable inners, 3D modelling in Rhinoceros, visualisation, animation, and AI-assisted visual refinement.
