BOW TIMEPIECE
Development of a conceptual mechanical watch inspired by the nautical world, designed for a user with an emotional connection to boats and the language of yachting. The project took the idea of the bow as its main starting point — the prow as gesture, direction and character — and combined it with references to the deck, translated into surface rhythms, proportions and an overall architecture with a strong technical presence. This was reinforced by details inspired by nautical components, strengthening the identity of the object and its connection to the world of navigation. The result was a sculptural, precise and original piece, conceived to convey exclusivity, technical refinement and a sensibility clearly linked to the nautical environment.

My Contribution
Project developed in collaboration with Lucas Colombo Carbone, with whom I worked closely in shaping the conceptual direction of the piece. Within that shared process, my role focused on carrying the idea through to its full materialisation, developing the watch in its entirety at both a formal and 3D level, from the overall architecture to the detail of every exterior and interior component. Starting from initial sketches and conceptual ideas, I worked on defining proportions, construction, assembly and part logic, with the aim of giving the project coherence and precision. I was also responsible for the final visualisation, including renders and presentation assets used to communicate and strengthen the value of the proposal.
Process
Collaborative concept development, exploration of nautical references, definition of architecture and formal language, full 3D modelling of exterior and interior components in Rhinoceros, proportion and construction studies, and visualisation for presentation and concept communication.
